| Inspiration |
The establishment of Wellness First (Pty) Ltd was inspired by the unfortunate death of man who had died from HIV/AIDS. He was brought by his employer to a clinical centre for treatment but he was unable to access any care until it was too late. He died leaving behind a family and responsibilities.
Besides the impact on his family, his employer also faced a dilemma: having lost a skilled worker, he then had the challenge of rehiring and re-training a new employee in order to maintain production levels and keep his business functional and successful. Both the employee and the employer were willing to seek out help, unfortunately they did so too late. |
